Magnumlite is a revolutionary new lightweight aluminum material used to make spools in Shimano’s lightweight reels. Together with the Ci4+ material of the reel body, particularly light fishing reels are created that do not lose any of their robustness.

The combination of technical details enables effective power transmission. By positioning the gear pinion close to the center of the large drive pinion, the power can be better transferred from the crank to the rotor.
